Facility: Hospital, Macungie, Pennsylvania

Position: Registration Specialist- NIGHTS

Position Information:

REQUIRED: PROOF of COVID & FLU vaccination MUST be provided at the time the candidate is submitted! Declination Forms are accepted.

Please note: Hospital requires a full Hep B series (3 doses) or positive Hep B antibody documentation

Performs a variety of administrative functions. Schedules appointments, and gives information to callers. Requires a high school diploma with at least 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Qualifications

High School Diplomas or Equivalent. GED.

1 year of customer service. Customer-facing - Preferred: Patient-facing

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required

Typing proficiency

Knowledge and competence for a positive patient experience.

Able to interact with a diverse customer base, including those seeking emergency services.

Adaptable, flexible, and able to multi-task per manager request.

Basic computer skills.

The training period is mandatory classroom training, full-time for two weeks. The work schedule will begin following classroom training.
