About the Opportunity:
Ellucian is seeking a talented Quality Analyst to join our team focused on tools and data analysis strategies to identify areas where process, automation, and standards can improve efficiency and effectiveness. We are looking for a motivated contributor with strong analysis skills and basic knowledge of agile development and work management systems. You will be delivering world-class reporting and change management as part of a leading cloud software company for higher education.

Where you will make an impact

Responsible for driving sustainable quality improvements resulting in the reduction of waste, increased efficiencies, and improved product quality

Evaluate and recommend new tools and processes that can improve current work methods, increase productivity and operational efficiencies

Develop and implement decision and risk management policies and procedures

Provide research and analysis to help managers identify options and implement solutions to business or operational problems

Ensure that the product team has the resources, data, and processes they need to optimize and deliver products

Identify the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability

Work effectively with the product manager, agile development team, and other stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment

Coach team members in how to use various business analysis approaches

Escalate trending risks to leadership for visibility and investigation

Enable the organization with reporting through data consistency and transparency across teams

Proactively seek ways to incorporate new/creative ideas and methodologies by keeping abreast of current technologies and tools

What you will bring

4+ years of experience in a Quality Analyst role with operations improvement experience

Highly motivated self-starter with advanced capability to quickly learn, and work with new technologies and complex technical environments, including a variety of databases and operating systems

Ability to extract and synthesize data from disparate sources to uncover strategic opportunities and make compelling recommendations for pursuing them

Ability to apply abstract reasoning to complex problems and devise creative solutions

Display a high-level of initiative and troubleshooting skills in varied situations

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to present complex analytics to all audiences both internally and externally

Proven background as a Quality Analyst leader in the development of enterprise class solutions for complex business needs

Fast learner; able to learn business processes quickly and efficiently and possess critical thinking skills

Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Experience

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred

Flexibility, responsiveness, creativity, innovative thinking, acceptance of change, and exceptional communication skills

Experience implementing and managing ERM frameworks for large organizations

Experience and exposure in working with global teams

Experience in data collection and exception reporting
