Hourly base pay rate is $11.88 - $17.84/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Job Description
Job Duties:
- Performs a range of custodial tasks including:
- Taking out trash, tidying furniture and
- dusting surfaces,
- Sweeping and mopping floors,
- Vacuuming,
- Washing and sanitizing bathroom fixtures
- with germicidal cleaners and restocking
- restrooms,
- Cleaning mirrors and windows,
- Watering plants (interior and exterior)
- and cleaning exterior surfaces,
- Performing minor repairs.
- Learns and adheres to all applicable health and safety regulations and policies.
- Assists with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum-
- High School Diploma/GED
- Generally less than 2 years' experience in a related field
- Must be able to work independently.
- Effectively communicate and interact with staff, management and customers.
- Efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
- Medium strength. Ability to lift 1-50 pounds.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Shift:
- Monday - Friday
- 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Preferred-
- Skill and knowledge to perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC repairs strongly preferred.
Drug Testing
To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug-free workplace, so the possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.
Benefits
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
