As a Leave Administration Specialist at West Shore Home, you will contribute to this mission by providing great customer service and knowledge of Company offered leave programs. What You'll Contribute In this role, you can expect to: Communicate with employees regarding their needs for leave and/or workplace accommodations, ensuring that employees are aware of their responsibilities and of any documentation and notice required to qualify for and to take leave. Handle the FMLA leave administration process from an employee's initial notice of the need for leave to the return to work, including determining leave eligibility, gathering and completing all required paperwork, designating leave as FMLA-qualifying, requesting medical certification as needed, and accounting for intermittent and reduced schedule leave use. Document approved and conditionally approved leave requests in employee timesheets, ensuring accurate payout. Advise managers and employees on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off, short-term and long-term disability benefits, paid parental leave, and any other Company-paid benefits. Maintain complete and accurate records of leave and accommodation requests in accordance with specified legal requirements and documentation of best practices. We'll provide you with the training and tools to set you up for success, and we hope that you'll bring: Bachelor's degree 2+ years' experience assisting with leave administration programs preferred.
