Job Description:

As an OnBase Architect, you will act as the functional expert for OnBase applications and related systems, leveraging your expertise to ensure alignment between business processes and application functionality. This role involves analyzing and defining functional requirements, supporting business processes through effective design recommendations, and guiding testing processes. Working closely with Programmers, you will bridge the gap between technical solutions and business needs, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with organizational goals. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to assess application impact, design strategies, and manage ongoing maintenance and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze, define, and document functional requirements to support business needs

Provide clear definitions for application support of business requirements

Conduct impact analysis to assess business requirements on system functionality

Collaborate with Technical Support to establish software/hardware requirements

Gather and interpret user requirements into detailed design specifications

Participate in and lead application design and test review processes

Oversee and facilitate test planning, ensuring thorough evaluation of applications

Act as the functional expert, offering guidance on business processes and application integration

Develop and implement user interface strategies in collaboration with technical teams

Identify, track, and resolve issues, risks, and action items to maintain project momentum

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

Strong organizational and communication skills, with experience managing complex requirements

Ability to assist in training and documentation, including user guides

Experience with Project Management Methodologies and complete project lifecycle management

Proficiency in creating user stories, tasks, and tracking defects

Familiarity with manual testing practices and tools, including Microsoft Test Manager

Experience with System, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Skilled in conducting requirements analysis and creating workflows

Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies, and ability to create Business and Functional requirements

Experience in developing stakeholder/user requirements, focusing on deliverable impact and needs

Competency in documenting Quality-of-Service (QoS) requirements for non-functional aspects like scalability, security, and usability

Ability to define report specifications and develop Requirements Traceability Matrix

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $90.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
