Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting the Field Quality Department by entering quality data for compliance to project specifications and quality control manual. Maintain quality system documentation, including procedures, specifications, control plans and work instructions.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Review various data inputs for the proper recording of project contractual and specification requirements

Build hard copies of all quality project turnover books, uploading electronic copies of project books

Ensure that accurate recording and reporting of site-specific quality observations

Assist field staff to document project compliance items

Assist the site quality team with project specific quality logs

Organize and maintain field QA/QC files

Maintain training materials and SOP/Plan/Process for Field Quality Inspectors and Field Engineers

Maintain quality system documentation, including procedures, specifications, control plans and work instructions

Maintain knowledge of Mastec Renewables Operations Quality Assurance/Quality Control Policy, Plans, and Procedures

Assist in problem solving and continuous improvement efforts

Support Investigating incident or defect root cause and support corrective measures

Lead and document all project Quality related certifications or accreditations

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma preferred

Previous construction, quality or alternative energy experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Mastec Renewables Zero Injury principles

Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft suite

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Knowledgeable of construction techniques or specifications

Capable of understanding industry and contract requirements

Ability to analyze large amounts of data daily

Ability to multi-task

Ability to effectively work in team environment

Ability to foresee upcoming problems and trouble-shoot potential problems in a timely manner

Strong attention to detail and focus on data entry accuracy
