Overview:
JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

The person in this role will lead corporate communications, both internal and external for Gaudenzia, Inc. They will be responsible for identifying all communication opportunities and needs. This role is a highly visible position that is responsible helping deliver the messaging around our company vision and mission. This role is a critical piece to the successful growth of our culture and collaboration as a business. They will be responsible for communicating and building the message to reinforce Gaudenzia as a leading evidence-based treatment provider in the substance use and co-occurring disorder space. The ability to think big and small is important. We need you to be comfortable discussing strategy and long-term vision with executives, but also able to dive into the details designing a particular interaction.

Become an integral part of a growing team for Gaudenzia, as Director, Corporate Communications, you will collaborate with the marketing, content, digital, IT, HR, regional and corporate teams to support the organizations growth. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our regional and corporate leaders, industry partners, clients and vendors. The position requires an individual who can work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. While it is not essential for the candidate to be an industry expert in substance use disorder treatment, it is expected that she/he will build their knowledge and act as the company's voice in all matters related to corporate communications.

Responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute strategies to effectively communicate Gaudenzia's key messages to internal and external audiences from a big-picture corporate perspective and in support of individual region's strategies

Management of all key communications internal & external.

Lead a small team of professionals to execute your vision

Manage vendor relationships for print, web design, graphic design and any others as needed.

Share strong and compelling messages to support our corporate mission and vision.

Lead the development of messages and materials (e.g., press releases, talking points, media statements, Q&As) that communicate company milestones and articulate our corporate strategy clearly and articulately to external & internal audiences through a variety of communication vehicles.

Serve as a strategic thought partner to executives for internal engagement and external speaking opportunities and presentations as needed; oversee media training process to prepare spokespeople across company for various milestones; ensure compliance of external speaking activities and presentations

Management of all industry submissions and articles.

Oversee corporate intranet and messaging tools (SharePoint and ME+U Cares) with company news, charity events, and key corporate initiatives.

Lead corporate culture development via compelling communication and experiences.

Collaborate with HR counterparts to deliver transparent, valuable, and engaging communications to our employees and position candidates.

Drive communication efforts across all regions to provide collective, but tailored solutions

Present and pitch concepts and ideas to senior leadership for driving awareness in the industry and build the brand awareness of Gaudenzia.

Develop and execute strategies to effectively communicate Gaudenzia's key messages to external audiences from a big-picture corporate perspective and in support of individual regional strategies

Advance corporate reputation through issues management and crisis preparation

Own company's external & internal communications channels process.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education/Training & Experience:

BS/BA Degree required; MBA preferred

7+ years Corporate Communications or Internal Marketing experience

Experience assembling a collaborative team, developing a compelling vision, and executing a focused plan of action
