Accounting Manager II- Facilities
As the Facilities Accounting Manager, you will support the Director of Accounting in coordinating the general accounting functions of the Facilities line of business. You will manage a team of Accountants and Senior Accountants by overseeing month-end close, quarterly reporting, maintaining account reconciliation processes, and interacting with multiple levels of field and operations management. This role provides the opportunity to be part of an innovative accounting team that drives process improvement within the business and group and provides valuable insight through the interpretation of data. This position reports to the Facilities Director of Accounting within Aramark?s Accounting department at the Aramark HQ office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. ?Please note this role will be a hybrid schedule ? 2/3 days per week in office in either Philadelphia, PA or Nashville, TN.

Job Responsibilities

Manage and develop team of accountants and/or senior accountants/ AP associates

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Support of Sector reporting function includes consolidation of balance sheet on a quarterly basis and documentation of fluctuations to ensure relevant risks and opportunities are communicate effectively

Review account reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy in accordance with US GAAP

Reviewing and assessing technical accounting positions, drafting position papers as necessary

Responsible for preparation and review of quarterly financial reporting

Coordination of audits with outside audit firm and internal operators and ensuring timely submission

Reviewing balance sheet fluctuations, inclusive of inventory trends and exceptions and working with leadership to understand drivers

Performing ad hoc projects at the request of the Accounting Director, US Controller, VP of Finance, or other organizational leadership

Assess current accounting operations and resource capacity, offering recommendations for improvements and implementing new processes where deemed appropriate

Understanding and interpreting contract language

Engage with leaders in the field to resolve any questions/issues

Work with the Distributed Model accounts to help manage workflow and find solutions with the AP team.

Qualifications

?Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance required
?CPA strongly preferred
? 5+ years of experience in audit or accounting with experience in a big 4 public accounting firm preferred
?Strong organizational and communication skills
?Strong understanding of US GAAP
?Experience with Oracle EBS and Blackline preferred, but not required
