Job description

As the Controller, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy, providing insights that drive decision-making and support business objectives.

Description

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to senior management.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing forecasting to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Audit Management: Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
  • Cash Management: Monitor cash flow and optimize liquidity to support operations and growth.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership on financial strategy and long-term planning initiatives.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to present financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of strategic financial planning and analysis.
