The Project Executive will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the construction process specific to healthcare and educational environments.

Description

  • Project Oversight: Lead and oversee multiple healthcare and higher education projects from pre-construction through to completion. Ensure all project phases adhere to client specifications, timelines, and budgets.

  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and consultants. Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communications and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor project managers, superintendents, and other project staff. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and professional development.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop project strategies and plans, including risk management, resource allocation, and scheduling. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.

  • Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, including cost estimates, change orders, and financial reporting. Ensure projects are completed within financial constraints and identify opportunities for cost savings.

  • Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality control measures to ensure that construction meets industry standards and client requirements. Implement best practices and address any quality issues that arise.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, including those specific to healthcare and higher education environments.

  • Business Development: Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, preparing proposals, and contributing to the pursuit of new projects. Leverage industry knowledge to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Profile

  • Strong familiarity with Philadelphia clients and and subcontractors is highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years focusing on healthcare and higher education projects. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Deep understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations specific to healthcare and higher education facilities. Familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of these sectors.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Willingness to travel as needed for project sites.
