Description

Our healthcare client is seeking a Director of Program Management who will manage a portfolio of projects and a group of 3-5 Project Managers (each managing multiple multi-million-dollar projects). This position will lead a large enterprise program that includes Clinical Applications initiatives. Must be a seasoned leader with project management experience with Epic and other clinical applications is required.

Key Accountabilities:

Manages a portfolio of Clinical Applications projects such as Epic ambulatory, inpatient and Epic Security as well as other modules and applications.

Orchestrates large-scale and complex technology implementation, migration, and upgrade projects throughout their lifecycle, overseeing all project stages from initial planning to initiation, execution, and closure, including Epic upgrades and integration.

Directs teams across all project stages from initial planning to deployment, developing plans and schedules, establishing priorities, and allocating resources to facilitate delivery.

Brings best practices to create a structured approach to aligning IT with business objectives while effectively managing risk and meeting compliance requirements.

Leads technical discussions with both business and technical stakeholders' enterprise-wide to identify requirements and ensure solutions align business and technology needs.

Navigates multifaceted negotiations and integrations with new service partners and technology vendors.

Required Skills:

Healthcare experience and experience with Epic required; hospital experience is preferred

PMP certification

Expertise at establishing complex technical project plans, driving projects from start to finish, creating realistic schedules, setting customer expectations, proactively identifying, and managing risks, and adjusting to changing priorities

Demonstrated ability to manage people who are running simultaneous projects of a highly complex nature

Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, at all levels, with maturity and credibility

Able to drive collaboration harmoniously with diverse teams

Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills

Work is 100% remote but ability to occasionally travel to Philadelphia / Camden, NJ, area is required
