Role Summary:
Urban Outfitters is looking for an Associate Manager of eCommerce & Web Production. This person will play a crucial role in supporting site/channel marketing through project management and marketing-based merchandising in addition to performance, investment and seasonal-based merchandising. This role will partner with digital/multi-channel merchandising, buying, digital marketing, web production and content to support business needs in regard to marketing and merchandising.

Role Responsibilities:
Manage the creation of compelling product categories and marketing content based on product feedback, trends, and analytics.

Contribute to the development and implementation of processes aimed at marketing, merchandising, promotions, site search maintenance and quality assurance.

Work with Marketing and Creative teams to ensure accurate and effective content implementation and visual merchandising.

Partner with cross-functional teams in technology to resolve product publishing and site merchandising issues.

Implement and maintain merchandising strategies on the UO site and app for US and Canada.

Utilize performance metrics and customer behavior trends to drive execution.

Use catalog management systems, on-site search tools, and product/category recommendation tools effectively. Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing these systems.

Maintain documentation on web processes, merchandising strategies, and digital projects. Prepare reports and updates on project status and performance metrics.

Oversee and guide an Associate by providing support in their daily tasks, including marketing project management, web merchandising, customer journey management and communication.

Ensure team is delivering a curated and customer focused shopping experience every day

Identify and suggest process improvements and training opportunities for the team. Support the development of team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Prioritize and manage tasks based on analytics and departmental goals. Take ownership of specific projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.

Role Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree or higher.

3 years of experience in eCommerce, digital merchandising, or related fields.

Experience using Analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau

Experience managing multi-site experiences and multiple product catalogs

Strong capacity for multi-tasking, organization, communication and time management

Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and projects and quickly shift priorities

Able to manage many projects and drive multiple threads of work to completion

Demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment

Ability to see big picture as well as dive into the small details

Able to think both creatively and critically. Willing to think outside the box and challenge the status quo, while also fairly evaluating all possible solutions in making strategic decisions

Must be comfortable working with technical systems and troubleshooting web issues

Experience working in a collaborative or professional environment

An appreciation for and understanding of the Urban Outfitters customer and aesthetic

A passion for retail and specifically ecommerce in today's marketplace
