Job description

An opportunity to join Federated Hermes Global Technology Organization (GTO) as a technology leader is available on the Information Security team. The Director is responsible for working collaboratively across GTO groups and Federated Hermes business areas to accomplish organizational priorities and work activities associated with Information Security Operations. The Director assists the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to ensure that proper protection for all technical aspects of the organization ranging from securing communications, data, applications, and business systems to performing risk assessments of Information Technology assets whether inside or outside of Federated Hermes technology domain.

What you will do:
Manage all information security operations and event monitoring to ensure resolution.
Manage information security processes/policies and work closely with the technical and business units within Federated to ensure risk areas are identified and addressed.
Maintain incident response procedures, manage events/incidents, manage threat intelligence, and maintain security tools.

What we are looking for:
Bachelors degree in computer science, information science or equivalent experience and two information security certifications required.
Masters degree in criminology, information security or electrical engineering/networking with industry specific information security certification preferred.
Minimum of 12 years management experience in a technical leadership with includes experience in systems administration, senior technician, networking, programmer, or project leader in one or more of the operating systems that are critical to Federated Hermes systems and minimum 5 years of information security and forensic experience.
Experience with implementing standard security practices; network architecture; routing and TCP/IP protocols; and, administrating and analyzing Unix/Linux and Microsoft operating systems required.
Advanced information security technical skills in a majority of the technologies critical to Federated Hermes technical environment required.

Hybrid schedule
Warrendale, PA (Work at downtown location when required)
