AR ACCOUNTANT

• The AR Accountant position is an integral part of the sales and cost recognition cycles for transformer and turn-key projects.

OVERVIEW OF THE AR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Enter and track inventory purchases
• The AR Accountant will oversee purchasing and sales of gear product line
• Create invoices according to company practices and submit invoices to customers.
• Collect payments from customers and accurately record them in the system
• The AR Accountant will assist with meeting revenue projections
• Assist with monthly cash projection
• Business partnering with non-finance inter-departmental managers to ensure timely and proper revenue recognition
• The AR Accountant will prepare special project analyses for the Project Managers and Senior Management as needed
• Provide year-end support of auditor requirements, which may include research and reconcilement

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR AR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, especially ASC 606 and IFRS 15 is a plus
• Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including experience in word processing, spreadsheets and accounting software.

•Salary $50,000- $65,000 based on experience.
This position is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
