Associate Attorney - Asbestos & Consumer Litigation

Location: Pittsburgh (Hybrid Work Schedule)

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage civil litigation cases with a focus on asbestos and toxic torts
  • Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and litigation documents
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients throughout all stages of litigation
  • Prepare for and represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
  • Efficiently manage case files, meet deadlines, and coordinate multiple tasks
  • Perform legal research and investigations to prepare cases and collaborate with various departments within the firm
  • Engage in court motion practice when required

Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of experience as a plaintiff asbestos litigation attorney
  • Currently licensed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex civil litigation cases, especially related to asbestos and toxic torts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping people
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Willingness and ability to travel when necessary
