CONTROLLER
Fox Chapel, PA - Onsite
$80,000-$120,000

As the Controller of a dual-entity company, you'll be at the helm of financial management, reporting, and executing strategic initiatives across both entities. You'll collaborate closely with senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to drive financial performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

OVERVIEW OF THE CONTROLLER ROLE:

  • Oversee all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting for two entities.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business development opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE CONTROLLER ROLE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification requried.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with a focus on subsidiary or divisional accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP principles, financial analysis techniques, and budgeting processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
