Dynatrace Admin

Position Location: 100% Remote

Acceptable time zone(s): Open to all timezones.

Working Hours (Flexible): Standard 8-5 Flexible, Core hours 10-3pm ET

Days of the week: M-F

OT: None, stick to 40hrs.

Intended length of Assignment: 1 year with possible extension

Initiatives/Projects:

This project is invested in developing customer journeys through service decomposition and focusing on specific transactions that are critical. Also, Defining key (SLO) Service-level objectives to be onboarded into operations center.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Taking the input that our customers submit as metrics, define SLO, build synthetic transactions

2. Pass along to the visualization team

3. Repeat the above

Must Have Technical Skills:

Overall 3-5 years of experience-

3-5 years of Dynatrace.

Experience defining key requests and SLOs in Dynatrace.

End to End Dynatrace Implementation and Administration mostly to define the monitoring.

Organizational skills - follow up and follow through.

Customer service skills - will have some customer interaction.

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

Knowledge of APIs, Linux, Windows Server

Pre-Screening Questions:

1. How do you define a custom metric in Dynatrace?

2. What are the various types of synthetic tests available in Dynatrace and when would you use one vs another?

3. Explain the creation of SLOs in Dynatrace

4. Do you have experience building tags and tagging rules for service, process, and host properties?
