To administratively assist the Food and Beverage Director and F&B managers in maintaining a well organized office operation as it effects the department.

Responsibilities:

Our family is looking to add a Food and Beverage supervisor to help lead our all star food and beverage division that includes 50,000 square feet of meeting space and 5 restaurant outlets in an upscale luxury hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh.

The perfect addition will include someone who has a PASSION FOR:

- Fostering positive associate work environments

- Creating memorable occasions for guests

- Elevating our food and beverage experience to the next level

Help run shifts in our different restaurants

Provide assistance to managerment staff and follow duties requested by management team.

Service Standards, training, scheduling, guest relations.

Answers office phone greeting internal and external guest.

Check voicemails, e-mails and faxes and follow up accordingly.

Process mail for Food and Beverage Director and Managers.

Order and maintain office supplies.

Fax copy and distribute as needed.

Compose and type correspondence for F&B Director as needed.

Process AP invoices for different vendors.

Coordinate and sign up new F&B employees for serve-safe certification.

Pro-active in gaining knowledge and skills in technological and educational advances for the continued development and advancement applicable to the company/department and staff.

Qualifications:
Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must have significant mobility of arms and hands. Must be able to bend, squat and push, pull and lift up to 25-30 pounds. Must be able to see, hear and communicate verbally in writing.

2-3 years experience with computers and various computer programs.

High School graduate or GED equivalent.

Individual must be a good listener, effective communicator and detail oriented.

Individual will be expected to meet deadlines, work with little supervision and be flexible to handle interruptions.

Individual must be literate, have extensive verbal, mathematical and writing skills.

Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished, oral or diagrammatic form.

Must have strong, positive guest and employee relation skills.

Minimum 1 year of related experience

Must have ServSafe Food Handler's Certificate & RAMP Alcohol Serving Certificate.
