INVESTMENT ANALYST

HYBRID in Pittsburgh, PA

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Investment Analyst with one of our direct clients in the Financial & Investment Services field.

• Location: Hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA
• Pay Rate: Between 25.00/hr - $28.90/hr

As an Investment Analyst, you will:

• Performs data management activities in support of day-to-day functions of Mutual Fund and ETF valuation and Security Master building. Reviews exceptions and takes corrective action.
• Under minimal supervision, compiles, synthesizes and reports on the Bank's or market data sources; provides support with access, maintenance, and security activities. May manage moderately complex databases, feeds, etc. and assists with data sources. Conducts preliminary, basic calculations for more senior colleagues and helps develop reports.
• Interprets findings and prepares initial drafts of standard reports.
• Works with internal and external datasets, and client reference data, and provides analysis in market development for securities data. Applies techniques such as querying to extract data for analysis.
• Monitors moderately complex databases and spreadsheets. Performs basic calculations, initiates the execution of data modeling programs and prepares initial drafts of simple charts, graphs or reports.
• Provides information based on data-related questions from internal and external clients and may help provide solutions. Ensures that all customer responses are thoroughly documented and verified.
• No direct reports; may provide guidance to more junior roles. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Open to recent college graduates with at least a bachelor's degree, MBA or Masters preferred
• Net Asset Value NAVs experience or pricing analysis experience is required
• Quantitative Analysis, Financial Analysis experience is required
• Bloomberg Terminal experience is a huge plus!
• Mutual Fund and ETF valuation and/or pricing experience is preferred
• Seeking a talented individual that is looking to continue their career path in financial services
• Understanding of financial and investment markets is required
• Must reside within commuting distance of Pittsburgh, PA and will be required to work 3x a week onsite, 2x a week remote

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range : $25.00/hr - $28.90/hr

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
