LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a valued law firm client in Pittsburgh, PA, in search of a Legal Secretary/Assistant. If you are looking for a new position and have 2+ years’ experience in a law firm environment, please submit your resume!
Job Description:
• Responsible for creating legal documents, making edits, formatting and proofreading
• Prepares legal documents for e-Filing
• Responsible for preparing new client matters, retainer letters and assist with some billing
• Maintains and monitors attorney calendars, meetings and conference calls
• Assists with attorney expenses
• Good problem solver who can interact with clients and attorneys
• Detail oriented who maintains confidentiality
Skills
• Excellent communication and writing skills with a positive attitude
• Strong typing skills & computer skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Enjoys assisting attorneys in the practice of law
• Strong interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to write and communicate well
• Exceptional proofreading skills; ability to ensure correct grammar and punctuation
