Job description

Temporary Legal Claims Processor (1099-K Corrections) - 100% Remote - $19/hour - Full-time W2 Contractor

LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a detail-oriented Legal Claims Processor to handle customer fund claims from third parties (garnishments, levies, subpoenas, etc.). You'll ensure accuracy and legality, manage account holds, and communicate with various stakeholders. If you have previous collections experience, apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • Review and process claims (garnishments, levies, liens, subpoenas, etc.)
  • Manage account holds and releases
  • Assist customers with 1099-K tax form corrections
  • Communicate clearly with customers, creditors, and legal entities
  • Maintain accurate records and track actions

Requirements:
  • Must be able to start as early as one week upon acceptance of an offer
  • Strong time management, communication, and organization skills
  • Excellent attention to detail in a high-volume environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Google Docs & Sheets
  • Experience with lien/levy processing
  • Experience with 1099-K tax form corrections
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fully remote environment
  • You must be able to work full-time M-F and during regular business hours


Assignment: 3+ months (potential extension & overtime available)

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
