Job description

The Senior Associate position in the Corporate & Business Advisory division will concentrate on delivering financial and business advice to the Firm's clients. This individual will be crucial to our team, offering quantitative and analytical support for sell-side and buy-side acquisition assignments, refinancing, recapitalization, and restructuring, while also collaborating with clients and their advisors throughout the process.

Description

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses for clients and potential clients, which may include Comparable Company Analysis (Public Comps), Precedent Transaction Analysis (M&A Comps), Discounted Cash Flow Analysis (DCF), Leverage Buyout/"Ability to Pay" Analysis (LBO), Merger & Acquisition Models, and various strategic alternatives and capital structure options.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate financial information and strategic issues to assist executives and business owners in various corporate finance transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence for client transactions or assignments, leading efforts to compile a comprehensive data room and presentation materials.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the transaction lifecycle on behalf of the client.
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail in client deliverables.
  • Create and present tailored presentations and plans to help clients achieve their objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Identify new business opportunities for the Firm.

Profile

  • At least five (5) years of experience in finance or business, particularly in quantitative investment banking.
  • An MBA or equivalent education is preferred.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with deal structuring and closing principles.
  • Excellent communication and networking abilities.
  • Exceptional research, quantitative, and analytical skills, particularly in articulating market and company events.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and VBA.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize overlapping tasks and assignments, adapting to frequent changes in priority.
  • Strong financial modeling and forecasting capabilities.
