Job description

Don's Prepared Foods is the leading manufacturer on the East Coast of prepared gourmet deli salads, gourmet cream cheese spreads, dips, entrée's and more.

Don's is a family-owned business and manufactures over 130 products spanning across its three brands Don's Salads, Melanie's Medleys and Artisan Deli.

We are in the process of hiring a warehouse receiving worker to join our team.

Start time is typically 5:00-6:00am Monday-Friday.

Duties/ Responsibilities :

• Receive incoming PO's with perishable and nonperisable food ingredients following company's inventory control procedures.
• Use forklift to put inventory in correct locations.
• Maintain warehouse areas to be clean and organized.
• Pull inventory items for production when needed.
• Input information into inventory computer system, label and put away all inventory items
• Move product to inventory locations and rotate stock.
• Assist in inventory cycle counts.
• Adhere to food safety standards are sanitation guidelines. Must have excellent attention to detail.

Requirements:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to work in a refrigerated and freezer environment.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Must pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
