We're hiring a Data Analytics Manager to join our Enterprise Infrastructure Team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day activities of data analytics development staff
Collaborate with IT as required for project scoping and completion
Expedite and triage data inquiries and challenges
Help make the right data available to the right people at the right time, in a format they understand
Report and interpret the results back to the relevant members of the business
Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish solutions to business problems
Defining new data collection and analysis processes
Work collaboratively with technology staff to introduce new processes, infrastructure, and tools to advance business goals
Write, validate, and deploy reports in a reasonable timely manner
Develop data integrations between different systems using available methods (via Web API, ETL tools, etc.)
Assist in providing visual analytics and dashboards against business need
Create custom data sets in existing and new technologies as required
Be a liaison with data users to determine functional needs, related needs, requirements and specifications
Collecting and interpreting data from existing data processes and recommend modifications to improve efficiencies and capabilities
Provide leadership and direction on open data projects
Aid, guide, and train via knowledge sharing to other members of the team
Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline
8+ years of management and team leadership experience
Ability to balance being a manager and an individual contributor
Strong experience in supporting building teams in terms of expertise, capacity, and the ability to deliver quality data projects and solutions on-time and on-budget
10+ years of experience in SQL, and Python or R
5+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure concurrently
Proficiency in systems integrations and API programming
Expert in visual analytics and business intelligence solutions
Understanding one or more software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile methodology, Scrum
Must possess the desire and ability to learn
5+ years' experience in data models and reporting packages
Ability to analyze large datasets via modern analytics packages
Ability to effectively communicate with different levels of the business and translate complex technical issues into plain English and vice-versa for the technology teams
Must be able to collect requirements and understand data needs for the business
Effective participant in strategic decision-making process for the data team roadmap
An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
