SLPA Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Implement specialized therapy plans through individual and group sessions in alignment with students Individual Education Plans (IEP) goals.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and parents to integrate therapy into daily activities and provide strategies to support students' communication needs.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and support the development of IEPs.
• Maintain accurate documentation as per federal and state laws, State Board of Education rules, and school policies.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid SLPA state license or eligibility for licensure.
• Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances.
