Looking for a growing office that is a great place to work? Fyzical Therapy and Balance Center is an innovative company that is growing at a fast pace. We are expanding and opening a 3rd location soon. We are committed to your growth and success as a Physical Therapy Assistant and as part of our team. We are an outpatient physical therapy office with two convenient locations in Hagerstown, MD and Waynesboro, PA. We treat all type on injuries but specialize in balance/vestibular therapy with the opportunity to become certified through the Fyzical college.

A Physical Therapy Assistant supports Physical Therapists in helping patients who are recovering from injuries, managing pain, and regaining their mobility. The ideal Therapist will work diligently to restore function while preventing further decline in patient's ability to perform day to day meaningful tasks. This position is responsible for the treatment, implantation and documentation of patient's status under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist according to the physician plan of care and orders.

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant who is a proactive caregiver with a positive "team player" attitude, and meets the following requirements.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Provides physical therapy treatments according to the physical therapists' treatment plan.
Maintain patients records confidentially.
Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care.
Observe patients they are working with before, during, and after therapy and report notes to the Physical Therapist.
Assign specific exercises for the patient and help the patients do these exercises to achieve maximum physical recovery.
Assist patients when moving to and from the therapy area.
Measure performance and report on patient's medical record.

Qualifications:
Two years previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related therapy.
Hands on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training and physical modalities.
Ability to handle physical workload.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Health care administration and documentation skills.
Strong leadership qualities.
Bilingual (preferred)
License to practice or relevant certification.
Associate or Bachelor's degree in PTA
