Job Overview:
Thank you for considering this opportunity! We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians to join our team. This entry-level position is crucial in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients with exceptional needs in home, community, and school settings. As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with clients, implementing behavior reduction protocols and clinical skills instruction under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Behavior Modification: Focus on changing client behavior by observing and measuring in real-life environments.
- Data Collection: Track progress towards behavioral objectives and discuss with supervisors weekly.
- Program Implementation: Execute learning programs for communication, self-help, and play skills as instructed by BCBAs.
- Parental Training: Assist BCBAs in training family members to support skills during typical activities.
- Documentation: Record each service activity immediately after sessions and maintain timely, accurate records.
- Professional Development: Complete mandatory RBT training and pass the RBT Exam within 90 days of hire.
- Safety Management: Report critical incidents and handle emergency situations to protect client well-being.
- Collaboration: Work with diverse teams and facilitate interagency cooperation.
- Compliance: Adhere to organizational procedures and maintain client confidentiality.
- Technology Utilization: Effectively use company software as directed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with developmental disabilities is desired.
- Must complete Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) coursework and obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with required software.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician training.
- Pass RBT Exam within 90 days of hire.
- Clear criminal bkgd check (BCI and FBI).
- Satisfactory professional reference checks.
- Reliable attendance record (minimum 95% for scheduled sessions).
- Ability to handle physically demanding aspects of the job.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $16 to $25 per hour benefits (based on experience and qualifications)
