CTG is seeking to fill a Logistics Representative-Freight Payment opening for a client in Pittsburgh, PA.
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 6 months, with strong potential for extension
Responsibilities
Provides support for day-to-day Freight Payment activities which includes the validation, problem solving and resolution of freight invoices received
Responsible for timely and accurate order processing with frequent audit checks.
Fundamental knowledge of current distribution technologies, foreign and domestic laws and regulations
Develops sufficient knowledge of system(s) and begins to understand the key integration areas between supply chain functions
Develops a basic understanding and the ability to utilize various reporting tools; i.e. Business Warehouse to support job function
Supports key assigned responsibilities within the group
Works under the direction of management or the leadership of a senior member
Develops an understanding of customers and products within assigned area
Develops fundamental knowledge of logistics and partnership organizations across Covestro
Works as team member to support customer satisfaction
Develops an understanding of the organizational structure within Covestro
Works within own department and interfaces occasionally with other internal organizations and outside carriers on specific tasks/assignments

Education Requirements
HS Diploma or Equivalent
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
