Nurse Practitioner (NP) Addiction Management

A Nurse Practitioner Addiction Management (NP) is needed in Barrington, RI.

People flock to Barrington for its beauty, historic character, and many attractions such as Osamequin Nature Trails and Bird Sanctuary, a 100-acre cove with hiking trails and views, and Doug Rayner Wildlife Refuge, a nature and wildlife area with a 1.5-mile loop trail.

This position is with a community-based, nonprofit organization that provides primary, behavioral, and dental healthcare to the residents of Rhode Island.

Salary and Benefits:

• The salary range is $115,000 - $120,000 based on experience
• Language Differential 5% Additional Salary

Responsibilities:

• Monday Friday (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
• 32 Hours Clinical / 8 Hours Administrative
• Adult Population
• Collaborate with behavioral health therapists, peer recovery coaches, psychiatrists, nurses, community health workers, and family medicine physicians.
• Provide comprehensive primary care, including the management of legacy medications, utilizing cutting-edge, evidence-based, harm-reduction strategies and consensual deprescribing approaches.
• Appointments are 20-30 minutes each.
• EMR: NextGen

Requirements:

• Current And Active License in Rhode Island Required
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
• Board Certified FNP, AGNP, or Other Related Area
• 5 Years of Primary Care Experience with Specialized Training / Experience in Addiction or Pain Management Required
