Job description

This technician will be required to support electrical/electronic tasks conducted at our production facility in Portsmouth RI, by performing the following tasks: Cable and electrical assembly fabrication to print, testing and troubleshooting using engineering drawings schematics, wiring tables and parts lists. Assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or crimp connecting. Performing simple or routine tasks or tests such as but not limited to continuity and point to point assembly and sub-assemblies' verification and recording test data. Gathering and maintaining specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc. Job Requirements 1-3 years of experience fabricating and testing cable and electrical control and monitoring assemblies using engineering drawing packages. Additionally, ability to solder. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing High school diploma or G.E.D. required DoD Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of electrical control and monitoring systems. Familiarity with Mil-Spec and IPC Standards IPC Certification in soldering and cable/wire harness fabrication Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
