Job description

BAE Systems is seeking Material Handlers to safely and accurately pick parts, store, package, ship, and support manufacturing with material flow. Candidate must be able to operate a forklift and perform job in a safe and timely manner. Candidates must be able to be on their feet for an prolonged period of time, be able to work inside and outside, and occasionally lift objects manually. Candidates with manufacturing experience and warehouse experience are preferred. Must have at least 3 years of forklift operation experience.

Skills Required
Proficient Forklift Operator Experience in manufacturing or warehousing. Strong communication skills. Must be able to work with a team. Availability to work Overtime. Organizational skills. Ability to physically lift objects up to 30 pounds. Possess a strong work ethic Possess basic math skills

Skills Preferred
Ability to work with a team and sometimes alone Critical thinking skills and problem solving skills

Experience Required
Experience in warehousing or manufacturing environments Experience operating different types and sizes of forklifts Experience transporting heavy/irregular loads Inventory Control Experience

Experience Preferred
Experience with Oracle software system Experience with hand held scanners Experience with Microsoft office suite Cycle Counting experience

Education Required
high school diploma or equivalent

Education Preferred

Additional Information
2 opening for 2nd shift material handlers. hours will be pm. Some overtime will be required
