Job description

Title:
Navy Qualified Validators Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! KBR is currently seeking multiple Navy Qualified Validators at various levels (Levels 1-3). The NQV will provide support in accordance with the Navy RPG and NAVWAR Risk Assessment for the following activities: documentation, and artifacts in support of obtaining A&A approvals from the appropriate AO. Additionally: Locate artifacts in the Government A&A reporting tool about the IT being certified.
Develop the SAP and custom test procedures which is documented in the SAP.
Execute A&A SAPs and document the results and load into the Government A&A tracking tool.
Perform Risk Analysis and document in the SAR (in the Government A&A tracking tool).
Develop Executive Summary Ideally the candidates will have experience with: Risk Management Framework (RMF) and tools like eMASS (Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service).
Ability to conduct independent security control assessments according to NIST standards. Experience with cybersecurity for cloud environments and knowledge of the Defense Information Systems Agency's Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) is beneficial. Prior experience with IT/OT systems is preferred. Skills Required: Must be Navy Qualified Validator appointed by the NAVY SCA.
Must possess or have previously possessed DoD SECRET security clearance or higher
General National Institute of Standards and Training Special Publications (NIST SPs) knowledge
Prior professional cybersecurity experience.
Assessment and Authorization (A&A formerly C&A, i.e. RMF and DIACAP respectively) Preferred certification: A DoD 8570.01-M IAM/IAT Level III certification
Security+
Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
