Job Title: Windows/PowerShell Engineer Location: onsite, Charleston, SC
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Windows/PowerShell Engineer to join a tight-knit team of 4 PowerShell Engineers to support the Navy and CANES Engineering project. This role involves automation and patchwork, evaluating incoming requests, and automating tasks on the CANES network system. You will also be responsible for updating and converting commercial PowerShell scripts to meet DoD security requirements and fit the CANES project. Key Responsibilities:
• Automate and patch tasks on the CANES network system.
• Evaluate and automate incoming requests.
• Discuss specific tasks in detail during the interview with Seth.
• Update and convert commercial PowerShell scripts to meet STIGs. (Security requirements for network systems) and fit the DoD space and CANES project. Qualifications:
• Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physical Science, plus CompTIA Security+ (Sec+) certification (preferred upon start, but can be obtained within the first 90-120 days). Top Requirements/Skillsets:
• Ability to hit the ground running.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills (must be one of the strongest qualities).
• Windows experience (can be learned on the job).
• Extensive experience with automation and handling automated tasks.
• Experience with Active Directory or policy-related tickets.
• Well-rounded skillset with a focus on PowerShell.
• Background with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS is a plus).
