Overview VTG is seeking Project Manager in Charleston, SC to manage IT Integration projects supporting the US Navy. What will you do? Reviews complicated project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Confers with project staff to outline work schedule and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, client, or others. Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies. Do you have what it takes? Bachelor's degree and six years related experience and/or training; or Associate's degree and eight year; or High School Diploma plus ten years' experience of direct work experience with C4ISR installations. Eight years' experience in managing or performing design, implementation, testing, inspection, logistics, resource management, and completion of C4ISR system installation efforts for Department of Defense shore sites. Four years as manager of U.S. Navy shore installation projects involving multiple systems and in performing tasks. Prior defense contracting or military experience preferred. Experience with Earned Value Management preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Secret security clearance, valid driver's license Other Qualifications Approximately 20% travel is required.
