For positions requiring a security clearance, selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Design, or a related field. Two (2) + years of experience Understanding of game design and user interface systems Proficiency in C# programming language, ability to utilize/convert existing code base from past projects Professional experience developing in Unity Technologies' game engine, including familiarity with UnityEngine library, sublibraries, and different project settings Interpersonal skills that augment performance within a team environment Currently hold or be immediately eligible to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance with potential growth to Top Secret Desired Skills Ability to effectively communicate technical work to a variety of audiences through verbal and written methods Familiarity with WinForms application development using C# Experience with collaboration/configuration management tools such as Confluence, SVN, TFS, or Git Experience creating and maintaining relational database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server and SQLite Understanding of Agile methodology of software development Familiarity with game design and user interface systems Effective communication through verbal and written methods Description Performing game design and software development of interactive multimedia products used in training of United States service members. Implementing the functionality behind the design of a gamified training product Creating components and isolated parts to complete systems for test-driven development Working with project resources such as user interface, media files, and other assets Using scripts and custom tools to expedite production and test solutions Debugging issues within game assets in terms of performance Working closely with colleagues from multiple technical disciplines in a team environment to understand system requirements, functions, and interfaces, while also being able to work independently on assigned tasking Interfacing with external vendors and Government customers Working across multiple projects simultaneously Refer someone to this position for a potential referral bonus!
