Job description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with a diverse patient population, focusing on providing comprehensive outpatient pediatric speech therapy services.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments to diagnose speech and language.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Provide speech therapy services to patients, including interventions for articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
- Participate in meetings and discussions related to patient progress and treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies.

Requirements:

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to speech therapy.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to speech and swallowing functions.
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for school-based settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
