Maintenance Technician Successful Paper Products Manufacturer


Company Information:
Our client produces paper products sold through E-Commerce, large restaurant chains as well as major grocers, and they have been a force in providing tissue paper, dinner napkins and paper towels to schools, hospitals, hotels, major venues and more.


With three production facilities in the U.S. and being privately held, they have had great success and will be expanding their operations in South Carolina.

  • 8-hour shifts (Monday through Friday). Currently, hiring for 3rd Shift (11:30PM - 8AM)

Your role with the Company:



  • Perform maintenance tasks assigned through CMMS (maintenance software).

  • Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Analyze repair requests and troubleshoot them including equipment repairs on feeders, slitters, rollers, conveyors, box machines, palletizers and more.

  • Perform installations and assembling, fitting, repairs and replacement as needed using Mig or Tig welding as well as mills, lathes, drill presses and other industrial tools.

  • Handle emergency maintenance and repair works.

  • Maintain work area clean safe and organized

  • Must learn to run each of the machines in the facility.

  • Adhere to company policies, safety regulations and OSHA requirements


Background:



  • High School diploma or GED is required.

  • Mechatronics Systems Technician certification or degree preferred.

  • Experience working with mechanical systems including PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, seals, gears, chains, sprockets, pipe fitting, and appropriate lubrication of mechanical systems.

  • Basic Mig/Tig welding experience.

  • Electrical troubleshooting skills preferred.
