Construction Manager II

Location: Baledogle

Job Description:

Manage construction operations within the assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Coordinate and schedule construction department activities to ensure timely support.

Evaluate and assess the company's construction support requirements, developing services to meet operational needs.

Provide technical and construction assistance to projects and perform constructability reviews.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

Conduct inspections and audits of construction activities to confirm adherence to requirements.

Analyze and recommend construction equipment for special processes.

Offer training and instruction on special procedures.

Provide technical direction to business units and assist in project constructability efforts.

Communicate with company and project management, designers, and client representatives to establish and implement constructability programs.

Evaluate the effectiveness of constructability programs and provide input for proposals.

Supervise subordinate construction employees as directed by management.

Basic Job Requirements:

Must be authorized to work in Somalia.

Intermediate English proficiency is required to perform job duties.

Basic physical ability and skills necessary for job functions.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

9-12 years of relevant construction management experience.

Proficiency in email, Microsoft Office, and specialized construction applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications, advanced degrees, or relevant specialized experience.

Prior contingency or military experience preferred.
