Volt is immediately hiring Wiring Technicians in Hopkins, SC.

As a Wiring Technician you will:

  • Assemble and wire a variety of complex assembly and subassembly operations for switchboard and switchgear products.
  • Component wiring schemes include PLC's, Circuit Monitors, and other advanced electronic devices.
  • Have the ability to perform mechanical assembly tasks.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces, inside units to wire
  • Operate safely, adhering to all OSHA and site specific standards

This is a Full-time opportunity.
Wiring Technician Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Sound knowledge and experience in assembly and wiring techniques. Position requires lifting and holding in place assembly parts weighting up to 35 lbs. repeatedly over work period.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, blue prints, material lists, and other source material.
  • Experience in wiring in a manufacturing or contract environment.
  • Position requires periodic overtime on a short notice to meet customer service.
  • Candidate must be highly motivated and self-directed with ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must possess a good work record.
  • Steel Toes Required


We are currently hiring for all shifts, working a 3 or 4 day schedule!
Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
