Native American Industrial Solutions LLC (NAIS) is seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Developer with expertise in creating immersive and interactive multimedia environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing virtual environments and simulations that replicate real-world scenarios, supporting training and educational programs. This role requires proficiency in instructional design principles and the use of advanced multimedia tools to create engaging digital learning experiences. THIS IS A HOT FILL REQUIREMENT
MUST HAVE ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop immersive, realistic digital environments that replicate real-world scenarios for training and education purposes. • Create virtual environments, including landscapes, structures, objects, avatars, and characters, using multimedia authoring tools and programming languages. • Develop interactive simulations that allow users to navigate and interact within the virtual environment. • Translate complex concepts and learning objectives into interactive multimedia experiences that effectively convey educational content. • Apply instructional design principles and methodologies, including ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) or SAM (Successive Approximation Model), to structure content and promote active learning. • Design and implement interactive exercises, simulations, quizzes, and assessments to reinforce learning objectives and measure learner comprehension. • Ensure that all multimedia content meets SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) or xAPI (Experience API) standards. • Collaborate with clients to interpret requirements, create wireframes, and develop responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies. • Stay up to date with the latest trends in multimedia design, instructional technology, and web development tools.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Development, Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in multimedia design and development, with a focus on interactive simulations and virtual environments. • Expertise in instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE or SAM. • Familiarity with SCORM or xAPI standards for e-learning and digital content. • Proficiency with multimedia tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and video editing software. • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and multimedia programming languages. • Experience with designing virtual environments, 3D modeling, or game design is a plus. • Ability to translate complex concepts into interactive and engaging multimedia experiences. • Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
