Actively drive sales growth within defined territory; develop regional strategic initiatives for the PythonX brand, sub-brands and product solution portfolio as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Actively participate in and contribute to the process of achieving profitable sales to drive growth
  • Manage opportunities through the sales cycle towards assigned portfolio WINS
  • Develop strategies which leverage the value proposition to sell at a premium
  • Provide regular market assessments as it relates to our competition's value proposition, innovations, and activities
  • Ability to assess WIN's & LOSS's and communicate analytically to managers by providing thoughtful feedback towards our own product innovations and improvements, sales strategies, and methodologies
  • Drive relationships within the existing and prospective client base as well as the Lincoln Electric sales network of managers, core TSR's, partners, and, when applicable, distribution networks
  • Build long-term relationships that reinforce and support the client's purchase decision throughout the sales cycle
  • Travel as required with a minimum expectation of 25%; the ability to travel more when required and/or directed by management
  • Participate in tradeshows, quarterly sales meetings, Lincoln Electric sales meetings, regional trade group meetings, Lincoln Electric sponsored client events, etc. as directed and required
  • Actively and accurately use SalesForce to track and record activities on opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Provide feedback on marketing initiatives that include successes and insightful suggestions that help drive the assigned Lincoln Electric portfolio and PythonX brand messages
  • Conduct site demonstrations and presentations for prospective and existing clients at either PythonX client or Lincoln Electric facilities
  • Actively share knowledge with the broader team to strengthen abilities that result in a stronger One-Wins-We- All-Win Team environment
  • Perform general duties as assigned and assist in other areas as workload requires
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience with large capital equipment sales, robotics/automation or cutting/welding industry
  • Background in the following industry segments, Structural Steel, Offshore, Heavy Fabrication Industries, or equivalent
  • Existing network of key accounts with strongly developed relationships
  • Proven and verifiable record of accomplished sales growth
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a territory, multi product portfolio worth $10 million or more in annual sales
  • Self-motivated and driven with ability to work independently while leading by example
  • Relationship builder with good presentation skills
  • Negotiator with strong listening skills and a proven ability to use value propositions at a premium price vs the competition
  • Motivator with a demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate internally as well as externally
  • Reside in the Western US w ith close proximity to a HUB airport
  • Team player able to travel both domestically and internationally as necessary "to get the job done"
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Skilled in presentation composition and communication, both live and virtual
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience with Salesforce
IDEAL CANDIDATE

You are a Hunter with Large Capital Sales experience specific to the target industries, and similar markets. You understand the industries and challenges they face and have knowledge of processing equipment typically used and their manufacturers. You are at ease speaking with prospective clients on the plant floor as well as with middle management. You can identify when to close and when to strategically bring in more senior level management to aid in closing the WIN.
