Role Purpose

Control Risks is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Threat Intelligence Monitoring Team Lead to join a new program overseeing a team of 24/7 Threat Analysts working with a Fortune 500 client of ours. As the Threat Monitoring Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of threat monitoring analysts who are responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to potential threats and incidents to the client's data center program.

You will lead and mentor a team of analysts, providing guidance and expertise in threat detection and incident response. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to enhance our threat monitoring capabilities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations and production for threat monitoring and analysis, both operationally and administratively, for the client's Data Centers globally. Ensure adherence to established requirements and drive operational excellence.

Responsible for the immediate actioning and quick turnaround of all client requests.

Act as advisor and on-the-ground partner to client stakeholders in enhancing an industry-leading Threat Monitoring program.

Produce well-informed, concise and relevant threat and vulnerability risk assessments, as well as any other requested intelligence products.

Develop relationships with cross-functional teams throughout the client's Data Centers to ensure quality and that coordinated support is provided by the GSOC Threat Monitoring team.

Assist the client in identifying risks and exposures to their Data Centers and recommend ways to mitigate risks identified.

Own the creation of SOPs for incident response, security operations and other critical areas within the Data Center remit.

Manage the 24/7/365 shift schedule and ensure full shift coverage to guarantee GSOC team is providing undisrupted monitoring capabilities regarding life safety systems, global news and/or critical incidents, among others.

Requirements

The requirements for this role include:

Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, Criminal Justice or related fields.

5+ years of experience working in a GSOC, Security Operations, or a similar role at a technology company.

Strong knowledge of emerging risks in the technology sector.

Familiarity with or ability to quickly become expert in Seerist platform.

Previous experience leading cross-functional or security teams in a corporate or government function. GSOC or Fusion Center experience preferred.

Willingness to be on call and available to respond to emergencies on a 24/7 basis.

Previous experience creating high-level security reports from scratch for cross-functional stakeholders, including those outside of the security organization.

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at any given time.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
