Tekaccel, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 12 hours, nights

Beds: 39 - MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU - mixed unit Minimal Experience: 2 years of ICU experience Patient Types: Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and trauma Diagnoses include: ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, s/p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma - heavy trauma population Cardiac experience is preferred (not required): CABG/TAVR - 24 to 48 hrs post op experience is preferred but not required for travelers Will not take fresh open hearts unless they are experienced, and the facility felt comfortable with this - given to permanent staff Patient Ratios: RN: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (rare) - acuity dependent Required Certifications: BLS ACLS NIHSS TNCC (REQUIRED) - please decline travelers that would not be willing to obtain this certification prior to arrival
