ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provides frontline leadership supporting quality functions in production environment
• Maintain the flow of work within the QA Lab
• Understands and can perform quality functions and spends majority of the shift supporting quality functions
• Assist in instructing and training staff on use of inspection and testing devices, methods, techniques, and procedures
• Work with teams to identify quality issues and solutions
• Developing internal auditing tools and conducting internal audits and reports
• Acts as a liaison between QA and other departments and team members relating to production needs
• Maintain the calibration system for QA equipment along with coordinating with outside venders
• Preparing and maintaining quality management documentation
• Preparing product certifications and warranty documentation
• Maintain KPI's for the quality team
• Create, maintain and update control plans
• May lead or contribute to QA and production improvement initiatives
• Provide direction on quality issues, and keep appropriate staff informed of any issues or concerns while maintaining the non-conforming product/process
• Leads or coordinates investigations regarding quality discrepancies, and monitors results of corrective actions (NCR's, CAPA's)
• Coordinate efforts to ensure proper safety and ergonomics standards and guidelines are met in work area
• Demonstrates Viaflex Team Member Values in their daily actions and encourages their teams to do the same
• May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed
• Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the company's quality management system in accordance with ISO standards
• Develop, formulate, and direct quality control programs involving inspection methods, devices, and control techniques
• Monitor and initiate improvement projects to current processes or policies
• Keeps informed of new developments, methods, and techniques in the quality profession
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Create and provide Product Certifications and Warranty documentation to the customers
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of quality control practices. Ability to coach, mentor, and empower team members to succeed. High level of patience and service. Ability to motivate team members. Problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify waste and creatively look for solutions. Ability to be flexible and multitask. Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.

Physical Requirements: Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Working Conditions: Exposure to a normal office environment. Position may occasionally require entering a production environment, including exposure to noise, fumes, moving machinery, and varied temperatures.
