Our team has partnered with a highly respected agricultural machinery dealership who is currently seeking a Service Manager to join their team. Recognized today as a global leader in powerful, reliable, and highly efficient equipment. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in heavy or agricultural equipment, and/or similar equipment. Other qualifications include:

• 3 years experience in Service Department operations with heavy or ag equipment.

• Ability to use applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions

• Talent for writing and speaking effectively to individuals and groups

• Skill to analyze and interpret internal reports

• Ability to work extended hours and weekends

• Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities include:

• Scheduling and assigning jobs and work areas to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledge

• Assists with the development and training of service personnel

• Monitors service sales on a monthly basis to ensure achievement of budgeted sales and profit goals

• Participates in the development and execution of the Corporate Service Marketing Plan

• Ensures all departmental tools, equipment and vehicles are in good working order

• Manages recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position

• Submits all service warranty and Product Improvement Program claims within the required timeframe
