ABOUT US: Did you know that every nine minutes another person is added to the waiting list for life saving organs? One organ and tissue donor can save up to eight lives, restore sight in two people and enhance the lives of more than seventy-five people. Since 1976, Mid-south Transplant Foundation (MSTF) has helped to facilitate the organ and tissue donation process between donor families and transplant recipients and promotes awareness through public and professional education. The Family Support Coordinator (FSC) serves as the primary contact for both organ and tissue donor families after donation has occurred. The FSC will coordinate the donor family follow-up program to offer meaningful materials, resources and opportunities to ensure donor families continue to feel cared for and supported. The FSC will provide vital information including outcome letters, surveys, and correspondence exchanged between donor families and transplant recipients. With guidance from department leadership, this role leads the planning and coordination of special projects and events to honor heroic donors and their families.

Work hours: Full time. Traditional office hours (Monday through Friday) in Cordova, TN. Salary range is: $51K - $65k; based on education and work experience.

Qualifications: BS in Counseling, Ministry, Social Work, psychology or 2 years equivalent work experience. Proficiency in using Microsoft products, good analytical ability and attention to detail. Critical thinking and problem-solving background a must.
