A leading healthcare provider in Tennessee is seeking an experienced and visionary IT Director to lead their IT team. This critical role is responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies that align with organizational goals, ensuring the efficient operation of all IT systems, and driving technological advancements to support their mission of providing top-notch patient care.

This 250+ bed community hospital is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-qualityhealthcare and fostering a patient-centered environment. The mission of this hospital is to improve the health and well-being of the community it serves. This hospital offers a wide range of comprehensive services such as emergency services, women's health, cardiology, surgical services, oncology, diagnostic imaging, primary care, and more.

The IT Director will develop and execute IT strategies that support the overall objectives of the hospital while providing leadership and direction to the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. They will oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of all IT systems, including electronic health records (EHR), network infrastructure, and cybersecurity measures. They will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The IT Director will develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources and oversee vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to achieve the best value for the organization.

WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including electronic health records (EHR) and health information exchanges (HIE)
  • Excellent understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
