Client Details

Our client is a well-known supplier of air-fuel components and systems for small and medium engine applications. Since 1990 they have been engineering components stateside and are looking to expand their commercial team due to recent demand in the marine and power sports verticals.

Description

  • Sales Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the lawn and garden market. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share.

  • Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth product knowledge on air fuel components, assisting customers with product selection, applications, and troubleshooting.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to provide feedback from customers and influence future product offerings.

  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences. Utilize this information to inform sales strategies.

  • Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for clients, highlighting key features and benefits.

  • Sales Support: Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotes, and contracts. Ensure timely follow-up and communication throughout the sales process.

  • Training: Provide training and support to clients and internal teams regarding product usage, features, and benefits.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, Business, or a related field is required.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in technical sales or engineering roles, preferably within the lawn and garden, power sports, and marine industry.
  • Strong understanding of air fuel components and their applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
