JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

The Manager of Clinical Recruiting works with the Lifepoint Group Director, Clinical Recruitment and VP, Talent Acquisition to meet recruiter goals, manage assigned recruiters and work toward set metrics. This position facilitates day-to-day operations while partnering with the Director on recruitment strategies for their assigned book of business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees the daily operations of the Senior Clinical Recruiters, Clinical Recruiters and Recruitment Specialists assigned to Manager. Coaches and develops staff and serves as a resource for questions.
  • Conducts weekly roundings with Senior and Clinical Recruiters; conducts bi-weekly roundings with Recruitment Specialists.
  • Helps develop, implement and distribute recruitment action plans, pipeline reports, and other reports as necessary.
  • Helps manage, maintain and disseminate recruiting metrics, such as hire targets.
  • Reviews open requistions on a weekly basis, monitors average days open and assists with strategic efforts to identify new candidates.
  • Contributes and participates in Quarterly Business Reviews with TeamHealth executive leadership team and divisional client leadership teams; assists with content for slide decks and presentations.
  • Facilitates communication and serves as a liaison between recruiting, provider services, operational/business leaders, and the client hospital; may also participate in communications with Lifepoint Group senior leaders (i.e. Chief Clinical Officer, Market Executive Vice President and Finance Vice President).
  • Reviews Letters of Intent (LOIs) and provider offers. Assists in negotiations and/or necessary finance/contract language approvals, when needed.
  • Has knowledge of assigned book of business and works to forecast future needs.
  • Conducts yearly performance reviews with direct reports.
  • Communicates effectively with the Vice President and Director in regard to crisis situations and collaborates, as needed, with the Provider Services team.



QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • BS in Business, Health Administration, Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a relevant recruiting role; driving strategic plans and impactful results & outcomes
  • Ability to lead, direct and supervise the work of others; experienced leadership preferred
  • Capable and willing to perform a variety of tasks
  • Ability to participate in an integrated team and work as a valued member
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Follows the norms and guidelines established for communication, production, efficiency, conflict resolution, decision-making, problem-solving and interpersonal relations
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with various teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of personnel
  • Proven experience in negotiating and influencing others
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and capable of working in a high stress environment
  • Must be able to think strategically and offer solutions
  • Ability to generate basic Excel reports & PowerPoint presentations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages Senior Clinical Recruiters, Clinical Recruiters and Recruitment Specialists
