JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

The Human Resources Intern is responsible for supporting HR Operations functions with the daily functions of the department. This individual will be responsible for assisting with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, data entry, and various other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all assigned company employees including but not limited to:
  • Assists in providing HR support for onboarding documentation research and follow-up
  • Assists with support for onboarding, orientation, etc.
  • Performs data entry into Human Resource Information System records and completes necessary HR related forms
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and as needed.
  • Assists in exit interview process
  • Gains exposure in HR related experience
  • Other duties as assigned



QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma
  • Currently pursuing a degree preferably in Human Resources
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a multi-task environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • Ability to prioritize.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
